DC Metro Junior Golf Slideshow Video

We have put together a slideshow video using some of the images captured over the past year. The images were made at the various events we have covered, beginning last August. It’s been a fun year. We appreciate all the positive feedback we have received on bringing news and information on the outstanding High School Golf and Junior Golf programs in the DC Metro area.

Winter Instruction, Fernando Martinez

While browsing through Washington Golf (Shirlington, VA) recently, we discovered that Fernando Martinez, a PGA Teaching Professional, has indoor space at the store and is providing lessons there through the winter. There is a sufficient area for full swing instruction. Fernando says, “Now is the best time to work on mechanics and your game in general. That way, come spring, you are already in playing form.”

According to Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS), the players below are currenlty tops in the DC Metro area. They may not necessarily be the highest ranked player in the entire state, but they have the highest overall national ranking for players in the DC Metro area. The number in parenthesis is the player’s overall national ranking by JGS.
