Denny McCarthy 2009 IAC Championship
Denny McCarthy of Burtonsville, Md (left) is on a roll this summer. The rising junior at Georgetown Prep in North Bethesda, MD is paving a course to the national level of junior golf. Just this week Denny won the individual title at the Williamson Cup. The Williamson Cup features teams of four juniors from 10 regional and state associations that dual it out in a one-day, 36-hole stroke play competition. Just over two weeks ago he posted a come-from-behind victory at the the 41st Trusted Choice Big “I” National Junior Championship at Dornick Hills Country Club in Ardmore, OK.
