3-Day Coverage at the CAGT Inaugural Event

DC Metro Junior Golf will be providing 3 days of coverage at the Capital Area Golf Tour’s (CAGT) Inaugural tournament to be held Labor Day weekend (September 7 – 9).It’s a 3-day, 54 hole stroke play tournament being held at Bowling Green Country Club in Front Royal, Virginia.  It should be a great three days of golf.  We will be posting a gallery of images from the tournament.  Be sure to check back no later than 48 hours after the tournament to view images from the event.

Capital Cup players Brian McCormick of Kensington, Maryland and Chas Bassing of Great Falls, Virginia have joined local sensation Zack Henry as three of the early registrants set to play at the upcoming Bowling Green Open in Front Royal, Virginia.
 
“It is great to see such high quality players coming out for our very first event,” said Tom Lizardo, founder of the Capital Area Golf Tour (CAGT).
 
Bowling Green Country Club will host this inaugural three-day, 54-hole event of the CAGT.  This stroke-play tournament is scheduled for Labor Day weekend, September 5-7.  Saturday and Monday are scheduled for play on the South Course with Sunday on the North Course of Bowling Green.  The event is scheduled to be nationally-ranked by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard (NJGS).  The event will be covered at www.dcmetrojuniorgolf.com for all three days.
 
CAGT is a junior golf tour playing nationally-ranked events on various courses in Maryland and Northern Virginia during weekends in a split Fall and Spring season. People can go to www.cagt.org for more information, or to register.
